Admin Bio: Bre Lane

My name is Bre Lane (she/her).

I am the Administrator of the San Diego Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT). I’ve been at 98É«»¨Ìà for 5 years.

In my view, the best part of my job is being able to see the team thrive and help the community in a unique and creative way.

What makes me really proud of my team and the work we do is that we are entering uncharted territories by doing non-law enforcement crisis responses. The team has stepped into a special space and offered a lot of support to the community we are serving.

When I’m having a tough day, the thing that keeps me going is knowing each day that we are making a huge impact in San Diego and becoming a national model for how to do this work. If in the future my son has a mental health crisis, I would want a team like MCRT to come out and support him instead of law enforcement.

My favorite quote or personal motto is, "All it takes is faith, trust, and pixy dust." — Peter Pan

If I were going to describe 98É«»¨Ìà in three words, they would be innovative, creative, and mission-driven.

Thank you for letting us get to know you, Bre! We are so glad to have you as part of #Team98É«»¨ÌÃ!
